The dilemma that I am in is that I do not think that my company will pay for the course for me. There seems to be a growing trend in having chair mats these days. When I worked in an office no one ever used them. It is really good to see more organic produce available. When organic produce first came out it seemed to be something which was only available to those people with a lot of money because it was so expensive but prices are falling a bit now. There are also a much bigger range of items available now which is good You can get many organic food products as well as clothing and other products made from organic cotton. There are things like organic hats and organic cotton bags on the market which opens up organic products to a much wider audience. There are many games out there for boys and girls to play. There are many which do not have a lot of educational value and there are others that do. It is great for children to be able to learn about cooking at a young age. It means that they can begin to realise how to look after themselves and this should help to give them a sense of independence as well as providing them with some fun tasks to do. They are not proper 80’s things, they are new things that she has bought for clubbing and so people may not know what I am going as. I think I may end up using a sheet as a toga and going as a Roman as I am sure that i can make a headdress and look the part and it will be cheap as I have a pair of brown sandals. Maybe I will have a look through my sisters wardrobe first as she never throws anything away and may have something good.

I have just been to the most amazing wedding where everything was done really well. They had a really good wedding planner who had thought about every single possible detail that they might want.I was surprised by some of the details and impressed by most of them as well. Everything ran to schedule and every guest was really well looked after and had a fantastic time. There was more than enough food and drinks and there was great music and wonderful flowers decorating everywhere. The bride looked amazing in a plain and simple but top quality gown which was in Cinderella style to match the theme of the wedding and she has wonderful glass slippers. They had a selection of aisle runnerswhich had been printed to look like steps and when the bride left the ceremony she actually ran on her own and left a glass slipper behind which was great and then at the reception the groom was there alone with the slipper on a cushion asking guests if it fitted them. It was all great fun and there were lovely waltzes and other traditional dances after the meal and the bride and groom danced beautifully together. It was a fantastic day and very memorable.

I am about to be sent on a training course so that I can learn all about the Avaya partner ACS which my company are getting soon. I have already been on one about the
polycom soundstation which they are getting too. I feel quite a lot of pressure to learn everything really well because I am going to be the person instructing everyone else in the company as to how to use it. I think that it will be a really good challenge for me and I am sure that I will enjoy it in the end. However, doing it the first few times will be pretty daunting especially as I will be teaching the higher managerial staff to start with so it is not as if I get to practice on some more familiar colleagues. I have never done any teaching before either, I was just the person in the company who happened to have some free time when the training course was happening. I think that it will be good for me and I am sure I will develop some useful teaching techniques after doing it fr a while, I just hope that it will not take me too long!
