My family seems to be growing and growing each year. My sister had children and then so did I then she got engaged to a guy with more children. When it comes to entertaining it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to seat everyone especially when eating as the children can sit on the floor when they are playing but need to sit at a table when they are eating. In the end we decided to invest in some furniture that we could fold up and put away. Trying to find folding tables was quite tricky and most places were expensive and we also had to think of somewhere to put it. My company seem to be going mad at the moment. In this time of recession, I would have thought that they would have been trying to save money. However they seem to buying a lot of new equipment. I can understand why they have brought in the new IP video things, as they want to discourage employees travelling so far to meetings but just doing them in the office instead. I think this is a great idea as it not only save money in the long run but also saves time as employees do not have to travel in work time. The thing that I do not understand is the new digital signage that they have bought. I can understand them replacing what they had as it was broken but on the other hand, it had been broken for ages and they choose the recession to be the time to change it. I can only assume that they got a deal that they could not refuse! I am slightly worried about all of this spending going on. My work mates think it shows that the company must be doing well as they can afford it but I am worried that it is just a sign of a lack of forward planning.
